In 1931 Rheinmetall developed the first portable model of a portable typewriter from a design by Leopold Ferdinand Pascher for Stoewer. From 1921, Allied provisions allowed Rheinmetall to continue production of a small number of weapon systems. The German Empire bought a capital increase in the company in 1925.
